- The Rapala Countdown Elite CDE55 is a 2 1/4 inch slow-sinking crankbait. Runs optimally at about 3 to 4 feet deep.
- Baits made with the Rapala Countdown system slowly sink at a controlled rate of about 1 foot per second, so you can count each second as your bait sinks down to gauge the lure's depth.
- As the Countdown Elite slowly sinks, it flutters, giving predatory gamefish the opportunity to hit your lure as it sinks into position.
- The Countdown Elite is a multi-species lure, at home catching Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Pike and even big Crappie. Rugged through-wire construction and durable even when big fish hit it.
